Many of our smaller business clients are generally stretched for time and don’t necessarily have the resources to keep abreast of changes in their awards or employment legislation. As such, many choose to enter into Enterprise Agreements that can have the potential to encapsulate much if not all of the employment obligations in the one document. The obvious benefits stand for themselves.
First IR has a formalised relationship with AEPMA, the leading industry employer body to provide employment relations services to industry members. If you are a member of AEPMA, or a client of ours in the industry, then you will have the benefit of sourcing our Member’s Only section.
The Member’s Only section contains industry specific information as it relates to the employment relationship, for example current award pay rates, transitional pay rates, employment matter publications, opinion, HR tools, employment legislation and award updates. If you are a member of AEPMA or an existing client and wish to gain access please contact your AEPMA representative or us directly at First IR.
Please note, you do not have to be a member of AEPMA to gain access, however you do need to be an employer in the industry and a client of First IR. First IR also provides Award interpretation advice such as pay rates or a general sounding board on an employment concerns. Most of the time we can give you an answer in a short 10-15 minute phone conversation. A short call costs relatively nothing, particularly in context if the employer ends up with an underpayment of wage claim, or an unfair dismissal against them.
